About this service
At Lady Allen we have soft play, zip wires, sensory rooms, nest swings, climbing frames, treehouses, bikes and trailers, all wrapped in secure fencing. It’s a lovely space where children can explore and have fun.
Everything here is child-led and child-centred, meaning that play is personally directed by the children themselves. They get to decide when, how, and what they want to play with. This sense of ownership empowers them to make choices, build friendships, and, most importantly, have a blast!
With our team of qualified and trained staff always close by, we provide every child at the playground with equal access to all activities.
At Lady Allen we’re about creating memorable moments, building friendships, and fostering independence through lots of fun!

Eligibility and assessment
Our general sessions take children from Year 1 until their 15th birthday.
Our Friday Youth Club is for children and young people aged 12 to 19.
The service is primarily for Wandsworth residents. Children from other boroughs can attend but the costs of this would need to be discussed and agreed with playground staff in advance.
We provide a very accessible service with a minimum of paperwork and self-referrals are common. The initial approach is quickly followed by an invitation to visit and have the child/ children assessed. If our assessment is that the child will need 1:1 supervision then an approach will need to be made to Wandsworth social care’s disabled children’s team.
