Guidance for families attending a video hearing of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal.
Video hearings were introduced for Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal hearings during the Covid pandemic. Even though Covid restrictions have ended some hearings can still take place by video. If you have never attended a video hearing before it’s natural to wonder how it will work and what you need to do to prepare.
This film was developed to help you prepare for your Tribunal hearing. It was created by the Supporting Online Justice Project at the University of Oxford, in partnership with HM Courts and Tribunal Services, and with the support and advice of Judge Meleri Tudur and Judge Jane McConnell.
There are optional subtitles in six languages along with closed captions in English.
