About Chiz
Born in the UK of Nigerian heritage, Chiz is a Chartered Accountant who has spent more than twenty-five years working in Banking and Finance. He is currently Chief Operating Officer of the HSBC UK Finance division and also oversees its transformation activities. Chiz joined the HSBC Group in 2006 and held various senior positions before taking up his current role.
Prior to joining HSBC, Chiz also held senior positions at Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan and Citigroup, having started his career in KPMG’s Audit Practice. He has extensive experience in risk management, financial reporting and cost management. He is passionate about diversity and inclusion and co-chaired HSBC’s Global Finance Division’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Chiz, a keen sports fan, is married to Margaret and they have three children. He is an active member of St Monica’s RC Church in Palmers Green in London and an Engineering graduate of the University of Nottingham.
